A series of large-scale paintings exploring the colours and forms in flowers.

The series explores where beauty lies and challenges the preconceptions around beauty's association with youth and perfection. As flowers start to age and lose their youthful vitality, they reveal a new, more complex and often more remarkable beauty. Through my paintings I want to challenge expectations of what constitutes beauty, and bring a new way of seeing to the viewer.
